I’d like to dedicate this site to my father, Bernard Stewart Clark, who passed away in September 2017. He was, and still is, the sole inspiration for my photography, my passion lives on through him.
I first got interested in photography when I went camping for 5 weeks after my exchange in Colorado. It was during this trip that I really discovered a love for camping and hiking, and the photography kind of came along with it. Being an engineering student, there is not a whole lot of creativity involved, and photography became a good outlet for me to think about something different other than study and to experiment with my creative side. I have learned to try new things with photography over time to improve my skills and find styles that I like.
My first camera was a Nikon D50, followed by a Nikon D3200 and a Sony a6000 which is what I currently use. I primarily use an f4.0 18-105 lens with this camera as it’s pretty versatile and easy to travel with. picture quality is awesome with 24 megapixels and I’ve never had any issues with it. I bought a drone, the mavic pro from DJI, to further my photography skillsin 2017, and it has certainly not disappointed. It is super compact and portable, and produces great images.
I created this blog because I wanted to share my photos, experiences and advice to you all in the hope that it will come in handy for planning your own trip.
